HM BATTERY SOLUTIONS (Company shall be launched on Spring Fall 2026) will be an industrial company that manufactures and distributes lithium-ion batteries for professionals (B2B). The plant will open in spring 2026, with the gradual launch of production and the industrial resources required for its mass production. The target workforce is 15 people.

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Manager of Operations to guarantee operational performance, safety of personnel and resources, and respect for the environment. This role is crucial in defining and deploying the industrial strategy of our site(s), leading and coordinating production, planning, methods, logistics, and maintenance activities. The Operations Manager will also be responsible for leading Health, Safety, and Environment activities and will serve as a key right-hand to the general manager.
Main Activities:

Supervise and manage performance across quality, costs, deadlines, safety, and environment, setting objectives and monitoring them with relevant indicators.

Lead and develop a team encompassing production, logistics, methods/scheduling, maintenance, planning, and operational quality management.

Ensure compliance with production plans, contribute to Sales and Operations Planning (PIC PDP), and propose actions to achieve objectives.

Guarantee continuous production flow from procurement to customer shipment.

Ensure product manufacturing quality (conformity to specifications and standards).

Participate in new product launches and validate production milestones.

Manage productivity plans and determine industrial strategy.
-
Propose and implement investments for validation, security, and improvement.

Ensure compliance with good manufacturing practices and promote their transmission.

Participate in continuous improvement through lean manufacturing and action plan management.

Lead industrial or cross-functional projects and guarantee the industrialization of new products.

Participate in and/or lead meetings with staff representative bodies.

Supervise the HSE team within the Operations perimeter.
EHS Activities:
-
Ensure compliance with instructions, procedures, and regulatory obligations.

Manage and update regulatory documents (Document Unique, evacuation plan, etc.).

Declare work accidents and reservations.
-
Lead accident analyses, identify, and propose corrective actions.

Contribute to improving the environmental impact of the building and company activities.
External Relations: Suppliers, external organizations, local institutional stakeholders, Experts (labor inspection, internal audit), DREAL, CARSAT
Description du profil

Education Level / Experience: Minimum BAC+5 degree (mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, process engineering, production engineering, or related specialties) with a minimum of 7 years in industrial production and team management.

Technical Skills:
-
In-depth knowledge of operational management, industrial logistics flow, industrialization methods, manufacturing, internal quality, and procurement.

General knowledge of industrial maintenance, labor law, safety regulations, and environmental standards.

Proficiency in project management and Lean methods.

Fluent English; Chinese (optional).

Ability to unite and lead a team towards a shared vision, communicate effectively, and organize/prioritize activities for a quality work life.

Technical and regulatory knowledge in EHS
