HM BATTERY SOLUTIONS (currently on launching, to be set up on April fall 2026) will be an industrial company that manufactures and distributes lithium-ion batteries for professionals (B2B). The plant will open in spring 2026, with the gradual launch of production and the industrial resources required for its mass production. The target workforce is 15 people.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Production Team Leader to supervise our team members and ensure safety, quality, quantity, and adherence to deadlines for our clients. This role is at the forefront of the hierarchy within the workshop/warehouse.

 

Main Activities:

  • Lead your team, coordinate, and plan production/warehouse activities, ensuring compliance with QHSE procedures and rules.

Production Supervision and Optimization:

  • Ensure the application of standards: operating procedures, maintenance orders, monitoring plan, and participate in their updating.

  • Adapt and size your team according to workload and productivity objectives (workload calculation, including improvement proposals).

  • Propose and lead continuous improvement action plans.

  • Develop customer/supplier relationships (internal/external).

  • Provide technical support to quality, maintenance, and methods departments.

  • Intervene in case of technical difficulty and make necessary adjustments.

Team Management and Animation:

  • Lead your team according to defined standards, ensuring to integrate, evaluate, and develop skills (training, knowledge and know-how transfer within the team, professional interviews...).

  • Encourage constructive discussions, foster collaboration.

  • Implement an action plan for the development of your collaborators' skills.

  • Participate in the recruitment of your collaborators with your hierarchy and the human resources function (permanent contracts, fixed-term contracts, temporary staff, interns, apprentices).

  • Ensure compliance with social and HSE rules and promote a quality social climate, by identifying tensions and/or conflicts and managing them most often without hierarchical support.

  • Collect, analyze, and process the needs of your interlocutor. Practice active listening (questioning, reformulation). Analyze the need and handle simple cases independently.

Logistics Specifics:

  • Ensure the implementation of logistical processes (stock transfers, traceability, identification, FIFO compliance, inventories...).

  • Ensure the supply of production lines.

  • Optimize internal parts flows (from reception to line-side supply).

  • Manage external storage services / packaging providers.

  • Control order shipments if applicable.

Description du profil

  • Experience Level: A minimum of BAC or Bac+2 degree, in Machining, Product Realization Process Design, Engineer's technical assistance, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Maintenance. You have a minimum of 7 years of experience in Production Units, and a strong experience as a Team Leader. 

  • Technical Skills:

    • Use work organization methods based on production/warehouse activity.

    • Mastery of technical and industrial domains (mechanics, electrical, hydraulics, production stages and/or logistics flow, welding, quality, machining if applicable).

    • Monitor production/warehouse activity ensuring compliance with processes, quality, and deadlines.

    • Mastery of Lean tools (5S, 6M, Kaizen...).

    • Use office automation tools, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), WMS, TMS.

    • Comply with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) rules.

    • Ability to understand, communicate, and transmit to his/her team.

    • English, Chinese (optional).

Safety and Environment:

You comply with the safety and environmental rules applicable on your product unit. You are responsible for reporting any risky situation. You will have the authority to intervene appropriately if confronted with a situation potentially dangerous.
